Abstract: In this paper, a novel control strategy is proposed for spacecraft formation flying based on an Adaptive Neural Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS). The ANFIS controller has its significant advantage to solve the control of the non-linear system without the definite model and parameters. By the combination of the ANFIS position controller with the ANFIS velocity controller, the follower spacecraft can successfully keep the relative position in the orbit plane. Taking into account the J2 perturbation, the real-time thrust can be obtained by the controller. And the neuro-controller makes the follower spacecraft well trace the desired reference orbit. Finally, the simulation is demonstrated as the validation.
