A study on bioactive compound extracted from Schizophyllum commune and Pycnoporus sanguineus considering the effect of solvent used was investigated. After hydrodistillation process for 48 h, the results showed that 70{6e6090cdd558c53a8bc18225ef4499fead9160abd3419ad4f137e902b483c465} (v/v) methanol-water system provided the maximal extraction yield (41.47{6e6090cdd558c53a8bc18225ef4499fead9160abd3419ad4f137e902b483c465} and 52.48{6e6090cdd558c53a8bc18225ef4499fead9160abd3419ad4f137e902b483c465}) for S. commune and P. sanguineus, respectively. Kinetic parameters were then estimated by fitting the experimental data on the models. In the case of S. commune first stage extraction process, the diffusion coefficient, Dfast, obtained vary from 7.04 x 10-7 to 2.42 x 10-8 m2/h by using 70{6e6090cdd558c53a8bc18225ef4499fead9160abd3419ad4f137e902b483c465} (v/v) methanol-water, 70{6e6090cdd558c53a8bc18225ef4499fead9160abd3419ad4f137e902b483c465} (v/v) ethanol-water and distilled water as solvents. After a period of approximately 24 h, the extraction process become slower by decreasing the diffusion rate in the range of 8.42 x 10-8 to 4.29 x 10-10 m2/h for three solvent system used.
