Abstract:

“Team” has been regarded as a learning term in organizations, and the numerous studies of team learning have been focused gradually in recent decades. Different team learning types play an important role throughout overall organization, not only represents an organizational tendency of learning transformation, but also reveals whether organizational learning climate is supportive or not. This paper summarizes the relationship between different team learning types and workplace learning environment with employees’ perspectives. Exploring the relation between learning types and supportive factors is requested. Research gaps and potential problems are derived from browsing theories and variables. The purpose of paper is to introduce team learning types in organizational environment, examine theoretical understanding of team learning, review current researches, probe the relationship within variables, and discuss how HRD practice can contribute on applying team learning in the organizations.
