Abstract: The forensic application of biomechanics deals with the decoding of relevant criminalistic information originating in the vestige of penal action reflecting the functional and dynamic characteristics of the offender’s or another person’s body. Current applications are primarily aimed at the development of both the theory of forensic methods and techniques for their practical implementation, and at the analysis of the traces of crime and the technical means of forensic identification; special attention is paid to the methods of a comprehensive evaluation of traces.
