Abstract:

Cement in construction should be reduced because it will increase the emission of CO2 in the world. In our previous research we introduce foam bricks, while in this research we made polymer brick, a material which is made of plastic and sugar industry waste. Polymer-brick is a new material that reduces the use of cement. The use of cement is replaced by baggase ash released from the sugar mills. In addition, the new material is made of plastic-polymer waste as a raw aggregate. In laboratory tests, it is found out that the additional nano-technology will increase compressive strength at about 10,00–24, 57 {6e6090cdd558c53a8bc18225ef4499fead9160abd3419ad4f137e902b483c465}.
