Abstract: Poor people management issues should be addressed in a global climate where business executives aim at sustaining their goodwill. One way of guaranteeing good people management practices is to incorporate codes of ethics and CSR policies in the HR strategy. This paper addresses the responsibility of the HR practitioner from the perspective of rights and duty, bearing in mind the latter’s obligations towards both his employer and employees.
