Abstract: The paper deals with the studies of Moscow drain net using local large-scale topographic data and SRTMv.4.1 data for the city territory. The calculated digital elevation models and drain nets have been compared. The results of the comparison of drain nets from the modern and the buried relief are represented. The rational joint using of radar and large-scale topographic data was determined for the creation of large-scale drain net.
