Abstract:
Abstract—A man is religious by birth. Religion is the home, the identity, the dignity and above all the discourse of a man. Religion is culture, the ethos, the ideology of a man. Religion in the past (yesterday) was full of myths and superstitions. However over the course of history, people’s outlook towards religion had changed radically. Various religions, such as, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism etc., appeared as ‘world religions’ or ‘universal religions’. Unlike the past, the present stage of philosophy of religion and religious experience puts serious question about the existence of God. Even Kant was agnostic about the existence of God within the sphere of religion. The non-God based religion and religious experience has been further extended by Wittgenstein, Logical positivist and the other whole-host of linguistic and continental philosophers particularly postmodernists. Religion of the future (tomorrow) would be universal religion based on intuitive divinity where cultural identity can be retained within plurality of culture. The future of religious language and experience will explore that true science and true religion is the same. Understanding true religion can help to overcome religious conflict even within the horizon of multiculturalism.
