Abstract:
This study bases on an apartment units renovation project in Beijing, a number of integrated bathroom produced by well-established Chinese manufacturers were selected to upgrade the existing bathroom space. The application of the integrated bathroom in renovation project presented many technical issues, the research team used various methods including on site investigation and interviews to record those technical issues, large amount of data were collected in the forms of photographs, video and audio recording. Based on the data, the research team were able to propose corresponding solutions in many aspects including bathroom design, installation, supporting components and etc. This paper presents some of the key issues and corresponding solutions that has been developed by the research team.
