Abstract: Nowadays world culture is characterized by variety, diversification and colorfulness, of course, minority culture plays an important role in the stage of world culture. Literature is an integrated part of culture, an important tool to transmit culture. The thesis mainly focuses on acceptability of English versions of minority literature under the guidance of translation strategies of domestication and foreignization, through researching, the English version of The Jade King, as one of the minority literature representatives, at present has been translated only one time in English. It was published in 1992 and 1997 partly. After 1997, the version has never been published. According to the clue, the thesis studies the acceptability of English version of minority literature, based on referring to related literature, eventually it finds at least three influential factors on literary translation, consequently, the responsibility of retranslation of minority literary works is put forward on the history agenda, which plays an important role in reviving the minority literature, also in transmitting minority culture.
