Abstract:
The Internet has become imperative for business, education, entertainment, and other fields that offer highly dynamic and active content. Web-based applications with complex requirements call for consideration of information quality throughout the entire web development process. This research addresses the role of information quality practices at each stage of the web development process, with seven web development organisations as research cases. A strong emphasis on information quality provides adequate confidence for any web development team in effectively developing web-based applications.
