Abstract: Educators are adapting to the changing education environment by considering gaming as an instrument in the learning process. Educational games allow the student to be more active in the learning process and increase participation. This study investigates the role of games in the learning process and the perceived effect of gaming on academic performance. It also explores gaming habits of students and opinions on the use of mobile technology for improving future development of educational games.
