Abstract: In the most texts of Stratigraphy, the Hormoz
Formation is known as a complex, but based on our studies; we
found that this theory is wrong. For identification of Stratigraphy
of Hormoz Formation, we decided to study this formation in
Gachin Salt dome, based on Regional reconnaissance and
enhancement of satellite images using Remote Sensing
techniques, we identify a kind of lithologic sequence in this
formation, Based on this research, the Hormoz Formation
divided into four members, The first member includes salt layer,
the second member contains shale and siltstone, In the third
member there are Limestone, And finally, we have Igneous rocks.
