Abstract:

An ideal chemical sensor rapidly communicates small changes in chemical and physical environment with selectivity and predictability. Gas sensor is such type of device that can detect the presence of hazardous gases present around it. Among several types of organic polymer gas sensors Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxithiophene), PEDOT have drawn attention for its high sensitivity and short response time at room temperature.
