Abstract: This descriptive correlational research aimed to describe knowledge, attitude, and behavior regarding flood preparedness, and examine correlation of the knowledge, attitude, and behavior on flood preparedness in community dwellers. Sample included 200 people residing in Patal subdistrict, Muang district, Lopburi province. Data were collected by interview from questionnaire and were then analyzed by descriptive statistics and Spearman correlation.Results revealed that the score for knowledge, attitude, and behavior were at average of 82.7{6e6090cdd558c53a8bc18225ef4499fead9160abd3419ad4f137e902b483c465}, 71.8{6e6090cdd558c53a8bc18225ef4499fead9160abd3419ad4f137e902b483c465}, and 59,5{6e6090cdd558c53a8bc18225ef4499fead9160abd3419ad4f137e902b483c465}, respectively. The knowledge on health effect and management for reducing health effect were rather low. The knowledge was found to be correlated with flood preparedness behavior (r = 0.263, p < 0.001) and The attitude was found to be correlated with flood preparedness behavior (r = 0.154, p = 0.029). Results suggested that knowledge should be provided by addressing health effect and management so that people have appropriate flood preparedness behavior.
