Abstract: As a mature theory of interpretation, the interpretive theory can guide the interpretation practice, and the note-taking, as an important part in interpreting, can be considered as the carrier of “deverbalization” process, which plays a vital role to make the interpreting go on smoothly. In this paper, the writer will analyze the importance of note-taking from the perspective of the interpretive theory.
