Abstract:
This study is to find the fatigue characteristic of high Manganese Spheroidal Vanadium carbides Cast Iron: SCI-VMn. SCI-VMn is crystallized vanadium carbide (VC) in matrix. At first, the plane bending testing clarifies the fatigue strength. As a result, it became fatigue strength limit 161MPa of SCI-VMn. Next, investigated the notch sensitivity of SCI-VMn. As a result, it is found that the low notch sensitivity. In addition, SCI-VMn that has become the starting point of the crack generation is casting defects than the notch.
