Abstract: In modern society, translation activities are increasing day by day and translation theories are emerging one after another. Different translation theories guide different texts, and text analysis has become an important part of translation. Only a good text analysis can better realize the purpose of translation. This paper, based on the theory of Nord's textual analysis model, tries to understand the guidance and influence of intratexual factors and extratexual factors in translation, and to interpret the guiding role of extratexual factors in translation activities. In this way, the translator is expected to pay more attention to the analysis of factors outside the text, so as to provide corresponding strategies for more translated texts and achieve better results in translation activities
