Abstract: This study used semi-structured depthinterviews to explore Taiwan college students' loveexperiences and the role of technology of connectivity play intheir love lives, including how a new technology shapesyounger generation on the intimacy relationship managementand interaction. There are three main findings based on thedate from the interviews. Firstly, the technology ofconnectivity acts as a filter to scan, block, or catalyze relationdevelopment. It becomes a way of framing and classifyingintimate relationships and risk management and control.Secondly, the endless connection of connected technologychanges the specification of the care performance and contactin a loving relationship, and thus blurs the boundaries of care,trust and monitoring and brings the tension and powerdynamics in the relationship and increases the desire of takingcontrol. Thirdly, the technology of connectivity acts as aplatform of homosexual knowledge and relational education tohelp gay students improve their self-consciousness, andredefine the things they know, rather than dictated by thedefinition established.
