Abstract: Women have been either eulogized or excoriated to keep them as subjugators, bearing familiar responsibilities and societal roles. However, the new woman has crossed the stage where they no longer hold men responsible for their plight but they no longer fight against them. Their voyage to trace their own identity with firm belief in themselves has already begun. The paper focuses on how women have embarked on the odyssey, how they have worked hard to go by their own decisions and ultimately how they take their own course of life, bear the result of their actions and how gloriously they bask in their achievements, however meager they seem to be to the others.
