Abstract:
Machinima is to apply the instant rendering techniques of game engine to create a 3D anime. Its high efficiency, easy-operating, and medium-to-high quality attract movie makers’ attention to produce them for transitional animations in game play or for a single movie production. Machinima was used in movie producing area and became the Pre-Visualization system to help the director try out the camera angle and recording results. TV companies begin to utilize Machinima for the TV productions. Apparently, it is efficient in saving a lot of time and costs. The discussions focus on the style and language of Machinima, avoiding the game structure, and promoting it to a artistic level.
