Better stimulation of employees can have a positive effect on their performance and help to make the whole organization more effective, and thus increase its competitiveness. Competitiveness, of course, is important not only in the private sector in profit-led organizations, but also increasingly of late in the state not-for profit sector, which includes most educational establishments.
