Abstract:

The purpose of this note is to present a combinatorial approach to the problem of Time’s arrow, i.e. to explain how it comes that the laws of physics seem to be essentially time-symmetric, but the behavior of time itself is not. I describe a simple graph theoretic model to explain this, but the questions posed are much more important than results presented.
