Abstract:
A fluid queue driven by queueing models with spe- cific state dependent arrival and service rates is considered. Explicit expressions for the joint state probabilities in the stationary regime are obtained using continued fractions. Certain interesting ex- amples of Markov modulated fluid queues on both finite and infinite state space are presented.
