Abstract: China’s fourth space launch site in Wenchang City of Hainan Province and a space theme park to be built here will no doubt become the world's largest, and have considerable international influences on space and cultural tourists. This will play a tremendous role in promoting Hainan international tourism. This is a historic opportunity for economic development in Hainan Province. The space launch building itself as a base of high-tech industry will impact the tourism development in Hainan Province. In the Hainan tourism, a leader will bring about economic development in Hainan Province. In this paper, we will discuss the ways how the construction of space theme parks in Wenchang will integrate tourism resources in Hainan, how it will improve and enhance Hainan's tourism product mix and the competitiveness of tourism in Hainan, how it will expand Hainan's tourism industry chain and promote the comprehensive development of local socio-economic conditions. The space theme park will be the coordinated development of tourism in Hainan.
