Urban Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation: Testing a conceptual model in four world cities

Abstract:

The current study extracts a multi-component conceptual model derived from the scientific literature to pose to a prescriptive paradigm of climate change policies in cities. The model is applied to predict the effectiveness of the climate action plans in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and in adapting to climate change in four cities around the world.
