Abstract:
Torbangun leaves are tropical plants that contain different types of flavonoids are quercetin, apigenin, luteolin, salvigenin, genkwanin. Disease subclinical mastitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus bacteria in dairy cows is increasingly difficult to be killed by antibiotics because the bacteria are resistant to many types of antibiotics, therefore, one of the alternatives in an effort to tackle the problem of mastitis in dairy cows that the leaf extract suplementation torbangun (Coleus amboinicus) as a natural antibiotic disease by Staphylococcus aureus subclinical mastitis in dairy cows. Animal experiments in this study were dairy cows numbered 12 FH tail. Each cow will receive four treatments namely A1 treatment (grass fed concentrate (control)), A2 treatment (grass fed liquid extract concentrate on putting immersion), A3 treatment (grass fed concentrated extract in powder form feed), and treatment A4 (grass fed concentrate on soaking liquid extract form nipple feed extracts in the form of flour). Experimental studies using Complete Design (CRD). The use of the results obtained by the wake-up leaves are most effective in reducing the number of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria that is on the A2 treatment.
