Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the impact of an asynchronous e-learning environment on learning and teaching geography curriculum for Saudi high school students. The study seeks to explore a strategy which will be used by one high school to expand education options including addressing the problem of meeting new requirements mandated by legislation. Specifically, it focuses on how an asynchronous e-learning environment will modify the way in which Saudi high schools offer education to students. Therefore, analyzing the elements of asynchronous e-learning is essential to understand the effectiveness on educational process particularly student interaction and satisfaction.
