Abstract: Interprofessional Education (IPE) has been identified as a key mechanism in the improvement of professional practice and raising training standards [1]. However due to the barriers surrounding the logistics of IPE, its facilitation has often proved problematic and can negatively impact on the overall learning experience. It is in regards to this that Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital (LHCH) have pioneered a new innovative model aimed to provide a logistically sound method of IPE facilitation for both medical and non-medical pre-registration healthcare students in the adult field.
