Abstract: This is an attempt to elucidate the geomorphic features and processes in Kaljini river basin of Brahmaputra river system. Tectonics and lithology being important components of Geomorphology have a profound influence on the behaviour of the river. This terrain of eastern India presents a unique mosaic of landforms with great diversity reflecting a complex geotectonic set up.
