Non-Directed, Pd-Catalyzed C-H Amination of Simple Arenes

Abstract:

We describe the first Pd catalyzed method for the one-step C H amination of simple arenes. The activity of the catalysts is highly dependent on the Pd:ligand ratio and the identity of the used ligands. Turnover numbers up to 12 can be achieved.
