Abstract:
Remote communication with a motor vehicle has become possible as on-board car electronics, digital data transmission, on-board computer networks, software and wireless data transmission were developed. Communication means both monitoring on-line of selected processes and events taking place while the vehicle runs as well as remote, on demand communication requested by the driver or an on-board controller. This paper discusses communication initiated over GSM by the on-board microcontroller.
