Development of Web-based Smart Quantity Surveying Tutorial for Building Projects

Abstract:

In Construction project, construction estimate is a major factor in the decision to estimate tasks and plays role in the procurement, pricing task. In this context, preceding research were conducted to analyze and survey for quantity takeoff education. As a result, existing quantity takeoff contents was presented in a limited media as text and image. It was confirmed that the problem of the limits of the drawings understanding. Therefor this paper propose web-based smart quantity surveying tutorial that is educational contents using BIM-based multimedia for building quantity takeoff.
