Study on Interactive Design Method for Healthcare Facilities based on Efficiency Optimization

Abstract:

The interactive design method appeared in the mid-20th century, and has been widely used in other industries, but its development in architectural industry is greatly limited by the existing tools and traditional mode of thinking for architects. This paper attempts to introduce the concept of interactive design in the process of hospital architectural design, so that the hospital and the patients can participate the organizational design of hospital building space through the interactive model, using the building space to provide better serve the medical process. Meanwhile, referring to the behaviors of patients in the inactive model of hospital building space, the hospital way-finding system is optimized so as to further optimize the operational efficiency for the whole hospital building space.
