Abstract:
The phenomenon of hybrid organisations such as social enterprises (SEs) has receives numerous attention by practitioners, policy makers as well as academician and researchers. Despite the increasing research from various schools of thought, there is a lack of information in terms of concept definition and models’ classifications pertaining hybrid organisation. The aim of this paper is to provide a better understanding on the nature and models of SEs and what distinguish SEs from other forms of organisation.
