Abstract:

When a human was stimulated by a signal, the stimuli maybe affect the state of physiology or psychology and cause the reaction of brain. We could become aware of the body statement, for instance, a facial expression, intonation, and so on, to estimate the state of the personal emotion. However, the real mood couldn’t completely express by his behaviors. The purpose of the research is to detect the brain signals from different emotions and analyze the signals to get the features among them. The Fast-Fourier Transformer was applied to transform the brain waves to the spectrum with 1-50Hz, and found out the most meaningful spectrum. The experimental results found that the energy at 5Hz and 24Hz was larger than the others. Based on these two spectrums, the Sliding Window was used to observe the change of energy. Then the wave of energy-change was transformed by FFT again. We found that the energy of the wave of energy-change of 5Hz become lower at 1Hz under happy mood, oppositely the energy of 24Hz had become larger at 1Hz. For the sad mood, we obtained the similar results but the difference of change is larger than that of the happy mood. This technology could be used to detect personal real emotion reaction.
