Abstract:
Plant tissue culture is playing a vital role in making agriculture an industry. In current scenario with the advent of novel technologies, plant tissue culture can be re-oriented. Nanotechnological inventions could be applied in plant tissue culture to disengage its potential. Development of smart delivery system for tissue culture might be the futuristic applications of nanotechnology in plant tissue culture. Classical plant tissue culture practises have plenty of obstacles which avert its exploitation.Uncontrolled exposure of media components, in-vitro imaging tools, are some of the major area where novel tools of nanotechnology could be utilized and our lab is working on above aspects. This paper mainly explain experiments of our lab. regarding possible use of nanomaterials in plant tissue culture.
