Abstract: Advancements in nanoscience open up huge scope in various fields. Nano-materials have been well exploited in medical field, although their applications in plants are limited. Metal based nano-material has been intensely studied in respect to crop protection. However, their use in plants raised many environmental questions. Biogenic substances could be alternative nano-materials as they are biodegradable, nontoxic and easily available from living organism. This document contains voluble information on nano-material work in crop protection.
