Abstract: Biosensors have been designed using single walled Boron Nitrite Nanotube (SWBNNT) as a sensing material in terms of nanowire. Here we have considered two approaches for sensing the biomolecules. First one is to calculate the change in resonance frequency of nanowire when the virus is at the tip and second one when virus is at the middle. Resonance frequency shift of nanowire with and without virus has been calculated in both the approaches. Mass sensitivities of nanowires are found to be more with when virus is at the tip of the wire.
