Abstract: The purpose of the present study to examine the differences in coping behavior and suicide ideation among Malaysian and Indian undergraduate students. There was 204 Malaysian and 200 Indian students with the age of 15- 19 years participated. Instruments used were: Adolescent Coping Scale (ACS) and Suicide Behavior Questionnaire (SBQ). Results revealed significant differences exist between Indian and Malaysian students on their coping and suicide behavior. There appears to be cultural differences between Malaysian and Indian samples in relation to coping style and suicide behavior.
