Abstract:

The purpose of the present study was to examine the factorial validity of the Organizational Career Growth in Korean employees. Specifically, we investigated whether the original four-factor structure of the Organizational Career Growth is applicable to Korean employees. In addition, we tested whether the factor loading and correlations between factors can be similarly interpreted across the different groups by using multi-group structural equation model analyses with factorial invariance tests simultaneously for both genders and organizational settings. Results indicated that the Organizational Career Growth is a valid measure for career growth of Korean employees. Furthermore, results presented the possibility that the Organizational Career Growth is applicable to any cultural background. Implications for future research and limitations were also discussed.
