Abstract:
Loneliness may be experienced by anyone and almost everyone at some point of time in life. There is a difference between being lonely and being alone, one may be alone but not lonely. In contrast one may be with people around and still experience loneliness. This paper focuses on how women have experienced loneliness in their marital relationship and how they managed to emerge out of the experience to lead a better life.
