Examination on auditory stimuli as a manipulator of emotion

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to conduct an exploratory examination on how to manipulate emotion by using auditory stimulus. As a result, humorous auditory stimulus evoked positive emotion in participants, and heightened their arousal level. In addition, it was indicated that considering the length of stimulus, existence of BGM, existence of division, and, contents, would be ideal when choosing neutral stimulus for control group.
