Abstract: Different approaches of learning have been implemented amongst students. Problem based learning is one of them, in this approach, students learn in small groups through working on case scenarios, on real life problems, ill-structured and open-ended questions, all these activities stimulate the students for healthy discussions or interactions. The concept of distinction in learning styles of students proved that certainly not all approaches are appropriate for all and sometimes need to be more focused. Many extrinsic and intrinsic risk factors may influence them. Therefore, the question is, how to motivate and stimulate slow learners, disinterested students for self-directed learning. Thus, the aim of the paper is to explore and highlight the points of how to make appropriate learning objectives, problem design and strategies for tutor or facilitators to foster the slow learners in Problem Based Learning.
