Abstract:
People communicate a lot of information about their intentions and future actions using their eye gaze. It has been observed that among primates, humans are unique in the whiteness of the sclera (“whites
of eyes”) and amount of sclera visible, and it has been proposed that this is essential for communication via interpretation of eye gaze. In this paper we show our work in a simple game-like environment where we found that the use of an eye gaze detector allowed complete elimination of user intervention in the task. We propose that such a system would be beneficial for some game tasks.
