Abstract:

Road accident is one of the major problems effecting globally. Specifically, in Thailand, World Heal Organization reported that in 2015 Thailand ranked the second in the world for road accident mortality. This ranking was increased higher from the previous year. Causes of road accident lacked of knowledge and traffic discipline among drivers. This research is aimed to emphasize the knowledge of road safety to prevent and reduce road accidents. However, some drivers were unable to transfer knowledge for application in an actual situation. It is our objectives to investigate the rule of association between the accident and affecting factors. Knowledge of the investigation would be used for designing simulation game in road safety knowledge, accidental issues, and frequent situation for the road accident in Thailand. The area of study was in Huai Khwang District, Bangkok. In the primary phase, data analysis was obtained from the survey of satisfaction among 15 students from Silpakorn University who tried-out the simulation game. It found that users acceptance on usability was satisfied in terms of ease of use, enjoyability, playability, and graphic quality.
