Decryption of MD5 encrypted key Password using Cloud Computing

Abstract:

Decryption of MD5 encrypted password requires heavy computations on a single machine. To overcome this inability of a single machine to decrypt, an efficient and time saving method is proposed in this paper. The method involves taking a MD5 hash encrypted file and distributing the task of decryption over Cloud Network. Brute Force Technique is used to break the encryption of data. Each computer in the cloud will be using a different Brute Value to decrypt the required file. It involves traversing the search space of possible keys until the correct key is found.
