Abstract: The generalized hyperbolic random field(GHRF) has been defined by Alodat and Mansour (2007). The GHRF generalizes many random fields such as the Gaussian, the student and the chi-square random fields. In this paper we derive closed formulas for the expectation of the Euler characteristic of its excursion set.
