Abstract: With the growing abundance of open educational resources (OER) and lack of adequate search mechanisms for them, one of the challenges for the OER community is how to bridge that gap and promote the OER use. Targeting this problem, the paper advocates a subject-centered repository model and presents a Computer Science OER repository, which exploits the advantages of domain specific collections. The focus is on facilitating the discovery of resources relevant to users’ needs by providing adequate search functionality.
