Abstract:
The age of Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) has become increasingly common in recent years, due to its high potential and relative low cost. This work is focused on the conceptual design, prototyping and testing of an integrated system that consist of the Microelectromechanical System and Radio Frequency Identification. The integrated system will allow the users to be able to determine the state of the MEMS sensor wirelessly, through the RIFD tag. Experimental field tests were carried out to determine the effectiveness of the system. While the integrated system performed well in the test, the system has the potential to be further developed and widen its applications
